October 1, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Pumpkin Fest is an old fashioned harvest community festival with activities for all ages including a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, entertainment stage, and artisanal market. Come ring in fall by making this a ZERO WASTE festival!

August 20, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Festivities are taking over a section of St. Johns Street for a community celebration, filled with local businesses and artisans, delicious food, live music, and activities for all ages. There will be no cars, but lots of fun!

Celebrate and recognize the LGBTQ+ community at New West Pride Columbia Street Party! This is a free event packed with talent, 6 beer gardens, a Drag Show Stage, food trucks, live music, vendors, local organizations and a children’s area! Celebrate Pride with Green Chair Recycling and help GREEN this exciting event!
August 18-20, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Rock Ambleside Park is a classic rock music festival set in beautiful Ambleside Park in West Vancouver. Eleven bands will be playing over the weekend, and there will be exciting food and drink options with a food truck fair! Help make this fun rock festival ZERO WASTE!
August 4 – 13, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Known to be one of North Shore’s more popular community events, Harmony Arts Festival takes place in West Vancouver along the waterfront for 10 days. The festival draws crowds from all over the Lower Mainland to celebrate a harmonious balance of visual, culinary and performing arts on the spectacular West Vancouver waterfront. We invite you to join Green Chair Recycling so that we can ensure this spectacular event is as GREEN as possible!!
July 29, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Canada’s largest one-day Food Truck Fest hits Downtown New West! Experience the excitement as Downtown New West hosts 90+ food trucks and 6 beer gardens for use one day! Join Green Chair in greening up this fun food festival!
July 29 – 30, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Caribbean Days Festival draws a crowd of exuberant fun-lovers to North Vancouver’s Waterfront Park for a weekend of parading, dining, socializing and dancing in the sunshine! Come out with Green Chair Recycling and help lead a ZERO WASTE event!
June 30 – July 3, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Held at Rocky Point Park this event boasts live entertainment, special events, and activites for all ages. Come join Green Chair Recycling in greening the 41st annual Golden Spike Days, which promises to be extra special to Celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary!
June 25, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Come out and join Green Chair Recycling at this year’s annual Scotiabank Vancouver Half Marathon! Known as Canada’s most scenic half-marathon, this event attracts more than 6,000 fundraising participants as they run past beaches and mountains, finishing in Vancouver’s beautiful Stanley Park.
June 21, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – National Aboriginal Day at Trout Lake is a community-based, full day of events that showcases and celebrates the diversity of Aboriginal people from across Canada. First Nations, Metis and Inuit people gather to share their spirit, experiences, stories, songs, art and dance with each other and the community.
June 11, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Hey Volunteers, come experience the amazing celebrations occurring on the drive on June 11 – delicious Italian food will be a plenty, as well as performances, activities, and even vintage car exhibits. Help make this exciting event zero waste!!!

June 3, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Come join Green Chair Recycling at the exciting West Van Community Day at Ambleside Park! Enjoy this fun-filled gorgeous setting with activities thats includes a parade, music & dance stages, food vendors, and a community day lounge.
May 27 – 28, 2017 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Come join Green Chair Recycling at an exciting event which showcases European culture through entertainment, delicious food and a multicultural and bright spirit! Help make this event as GREEN as possible, we couldn’t do it without you amazing volunteers!
May 6 – 7, 2017 – The BMO Vancouver Marathon is back! As Vancouver’s only marathon, the BMO Marathon is one of the most iconic and scenic marathons on the west coast. The race features varied run distances, thousands of spectators, and a great showcase of what Vancouver has to offer!
April 20 – 23, 2017 – The Vancouver Sun Run is back for it’s 33rd year on April 23. With over 40,000 registrants, the Sun Run is Canada’s largest and most influential 10K road race, Green Chair always brings together an amazing team of volunteers at The Sun Run!
April 22, 2017 – For the first time ever, Green Chair Recycling will be helping GREEN Surrey’s Vaisakhi Parade on April 22! Come to this annual celebratory and rich cultural event, which features a large number of floats, community performers, and live music.
