February 4 – 5, 2017. CANCELLED due to weather conditions and part closure of seawall. Pacific Road Runners First Half Marathon is an iconic event that is always a blast for runners and spectators. We have a reputation of ensuring that this event creates negative waste!
January 27 – 29, 2017. Let’s celebrate the Year of the Rooster at LunarFest — an energetic and entertaining event featuring three full days of festivities. Help us keep this cultural and artistic event super green!
November 5, 2016. The raising of the historic Survivors Totem Pole will be installed in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver to pay tribute to people who have defied racism and other forms of injustice. The 27-foot totem pole will be raised in Pigeon Park.
October 22 – 23, 2016. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon and Cunningham Seawall 10K is famous for featuring a number of live bands along the running course and for their celebratory atmosphere. Experience lively cityscapes, oceanfront running, and spectacular mountain views.
October 15, 2016. Join us for a Field Trip and learn more about recycling. As one of our sustainability socials, this field trip promises direct involvement within our community, conversations with like minded individuals, and greater learning about our environmental impact than what is experienced at events. October 8, 2016. Join in on the Thanksgiving tradition and come celebrate BC’s proud berry history at the 20th annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival. The festival includes cranberry-themed activities throughout the day for the whole family.
October 2, 2016. Kick off the harvest season with PumpkinFest! This signature West Vancouver event celebrates with an old-fashioned harvest community festival that includes fun, family-friendly activities at the West Vancouver Community Centre.

July 23 – 24, 2016. We will be attending the Caribbean Days Festival again this year and would love if you came along with us! Each year the event draws thousands of people looking to parade, dine and socialize at this vivid event.
